Ghost Chili Sauce

They had Ghost Chillies at the market! They were way too expensive ($13 for 1oz), but I couldn’t help myself. Decided to make a belize style hot sauce. The recipe is below.


  • 1/2 cup white onion, sautéed

Then add:

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh Lime Juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh white Vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cloves Garlic, shredded
  • 1/2 cup carrot

Bring to a simmer and add the hot stuff:

  • 1oz Naga Jolokia, chopped

Then just blend into oblivion!
