They had Ghost Chillies at the market! They were way too expensive ($13 for 1oz), but I couldn’t help myself. Decided to make a belize style hot sauce. The recipe is below.
- 1/2 cup white onion, sautéed
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons fresh Lime Juice
- 2 tablespoons fresh white Vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cloves Garlic, shredded
- 1/2 cup carrot
Bring to a simmer and add the hot stuff:
- 1oz Naga Jolokia, chopped
Then just blend into oblivion!
