I will give you some hints:

  • hedge clippers
  • a saw
  • and a time-lapse camera

    A couple of hints. Remove Lights before using clippers, otherwise you might be in for a shocking experience. Have Paper bags handy… clip and then stuff clipping into paper bag.

    We’ve used this technique for many years to dispose of our Christmas Tree.

    …but it is the clipping (of the branches :) that make the lights so easy to take down.

    I suppose that clipping the lights would be even faster, but then think about all the work next year.
