Strange spam…

Spam just seems to keep getting stranger…

I don’t approve of the practice, but from a monetary point of view, I understand how effective spamming can be for certian products.

Take meds for instance. There must be a ton of people who are too embarrassed, or can’t afford/get a prescription/ect. for Viagra. Generally it seems like a large market.

Then there are stocks. Everyone wants to get rich quick. Unfortunately, the only one who ends up rich is the spammer who dumps the stock once you have driven up the price. But, again it seems like a large market.

However the following (see image of original) just confuses me:

mriHERE IS HOW TO BUY A 1.5T ULTRASHORT BORE MRI FOR THE PRICE OF A OPEN MRI NOW!

DR Medical would like to offer this unbeliveable 2002 Philips Infinion Ultrashort Bore 1.5T

$350,000 TOTAL INSTALLED!!!!

The1.5T Infinion MRI system is the world’s shortest-bore high field tube magnet. This system is 40% shorter than magnets of the same vintage. For instance, your head and shoulders are completely out of the magnet bore when taking pictures of your lower back. And it is fast. An entire examination can be completed in as little as 10 to 20 minutes.

FOR COMPLETE DETAILS CALL BUTCH HOLLIDAY xxx-xxx-xxxx

How can this be profitable? Are there really people in need of a 1.5T Bore MRI that would consider contacting Butch Holliday?

I received this to my personal email account, so I don’t know why I would be targeted as an interested party. They must just be wide-mailing this thing.

Please Mr. Holliday… If you are going to spam me for stuff like this, at least run your message through spell check. The way it stands, your offer seems simply “unbeliveable”!
