This is the 3rd time that I have attended the Higher Education Web conference. It will also be the 3rd time that I will present.

However, this is the first time that I arrived without any major screw ups!

In 2007, while traveling to Rochester, NY – the airline lost all my luggage. Luckily, I managed to bribe the concierge at the hotel ( that I wasn’t even staying at :) to have the shuttle make an extra stop for me to pick up some fresh duds.

In 2008, my coworkers and I were stranded in Denver on the way to Springfield, MI. Together with some (then) strangers, we rented a van and drove through the night to get there. Oh, let’s not forget that the first van broke down and we had to wait several hours for a replacement.
