In the 2020s, the fourth decade of website deployments, teams are recombining, repeating and re-imagining the patterns of the previous three decades.

• LAMP stack – where template meets content
• iPhone changed everything with native applications
• The reaction was decoupled sites. Data pulled from server – display is all js on the clients computer.
• This causes complexity – back and forth requests.
