Placemarks to the People – Feedback
Thursday, November 21st, 2013
One more thing that I love about presenting at the High Ed Web Dev conference: They collect and share data about your presentation.
This type of information helps me understand my presentation choices and, hopefully, helps me improve the presentations I give. Since they were nice enough to share with me, I’ll share it with you. Here is the feedback fro 2013’s Placemarks to the People. 1 is Bad, 7 is Good:
The speaker seemed well informed and knowledgeable on the topic presented. | The speaker’s presentation and delivery were effective. | The visual materials were clear and helped me to understand the information presented. | The topic was relevant to me and will help me at work. | Attending this presentation was worth my time. |

Evaluation comments:
Not only was this a good presentation, but (…)
Humorous, practical, and fun
Some of the map slides were too light to see.
Enjoyable – cool project, cool app! Can’t wait to try it out! Thanks
Want to try to add these!
Very, very good.
This guy is a web wizard. Loved it! Disappointed map images were washed out, but otherwise great!
Nice work. Please let us know when the plugin will be available.
Very interesting and pretty fun.
Awesome stuff. Very inspiring.
Effective presenter. Thanks!
In order to apply his solution, one must have WordPress. Have I known that in advance, I would have attended a different session. Not interested in applying this in WordPress at all.
Very cool. Hopefully I’ll be able to get a WordPress setup to play with it.
Great presentation, well paced, good flow, great assets, highly recomended!
Great demo! And kudos for the LOTR maps :)
Most impressive speaker and topic from day 1…
