On the ground at O’hare

Sunday, October 22nd, 2006

On the ground at O’hare, the rushed feeling took over again as I set out to find my connecting flight. This is one large airport and although it may not sound far on paper, going from gate K13 to G9 is at least a good half mile. And the unfamiliarity of the airport becomes even more disorienting as a voice repeats over the load system: “THE HOMELAND SECURITY RATING HAS BEEN RAISED TO CODE ORANGE!”

Yet, even with the march I had plenty of time to grab a bite (Mmmm real bagels) and type this out. Unfortunately, my little zaurus was having trouble connecting to the O’hare wireless.
