Now that the offer has been accepted, I feel comfortable uploading the fuzzy photos that we took during the walk-through:

The house is sooo cute. Teddy Bear says this is so much more than a starter home, wish you a lot of luck and looking forward to seeing it in person. Y and Y want to check it out too. Love from us all in AZ

This is beautiful! And a very cool yard to garden in. Is the vacant room w/ the fireplace a basement? I guess it must be, the window’s so high, and it’s good to have some natural light in a basement, nice when it’s only partially below-grade. Lots of nice touches that make homes special. What am I looking at far left, row seven? And why does it look like there’s a noose hanging from the ceiling in pic far right, row five? Just curious….. It looks really big, how many bedrooms/baths? Are the three second story windows bedrooms and maybe an upstairs bath on the left? Nice staircase, to second floor? or from basement?
Will it require lots of work? Paint looks good on the o/s, except for those two boards in back?, I guess. They look kinda hard to get to…The shoulda painted them before they put’em up. I love this….Congratulations! Sorry it’s so far from your job, closer to Sam’s maybe?….when do you close?…when’s moving day?

Just reread this…gee, I’m nosy…but I’m so excited for you!!!! Seems to me there’s a good contingent of foot travelers on the NE side, right? You were looking outside the city limits….but this isn’t, I don’t think.

    Firefly,
It is much nicer then the blurry pics posted here, but they will have to do for now.

“Is the vacant room w/ the fireplace a basement?”
Yes, half of the basement (over 500 sqft) is semi finished with a real fireplace. Needs a bunch of work, but could be a great family/bonus room.

    “…far left, row seven?”
Those are 3 funny little gables on the back of the house. From left to right, they make room for: 1) a master bath, 2) stairwell landing and 3) a small craft room.

    “…it look like there’s a noose hanging…”
That’s the master bath with a shower thingy hanging from the ceiling. It needs work and tile :)

“It looks really big, how many bedrooms/baths?”
    – First floor: 1000+sqft, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bath, nook, living room w/ fireplace, dining room. All hardwoods.
    – Second floor: 600+ sqft, 2 bedrooms, funny little bath, craft room. Also hardwood.
    – Basement: 500 unfinished for utilities, 500 partialy finished w/ fireplace.

    + garage and covered patio
+ .2 acre (60*150 lot) with lots of trees in front and lots of light in back.

We were looking outside the city limits… then we found this place :)

    Cheers,
    Gabriel

O.K. discovering I could zoom in helped see some things better…like the noose and the breaker box. I think there’s a ‘nook’ off the kitchen…with the table and mugs? Kitchen looks smaller then where you are, but we’re only seeing half, and if that’s a nook, it gives expansion space. So much room! I really like your new place….it’s charming! So is where you are now, loved it from the moment I walked in several years ago…but then you two could make a tent look charming, I swear….you have a ‘knack’. I bet Jim’s really going to miss you…you’ve done so much work….he owes you big time! Take lots of grape cuttings!
