Finding that path less traveled. One blustery afternoon while on a camping trip in the Washington backcountry, I had the idea for www.TrailB.com, a hiker community site. I envisioned a place where I could photo blog all of my adventures for others to see and also search for new adventures by reading the logs of […]

Freelance Project, www.AlyssaAndRobert.com. I was contracted to design and build an informational web site for a large upcoming wedding. The site provided an introduction to the Portland area, as well as contact information for services regarding the event. The domain has expired, but an archive of the site is still available.

However, more often then not, you end up with tons of photographs and face the tedious task of post processing them all one-by-one. PhotoButter is an open source program for batch editing single […]

There are many great image creation applications out there such as Adobe Photoshop and the Gnu Image Manipulation Program. These are great for working with photographs, but for drawing I prefer vector based programs such as Flash and Illustrator. With the aid of a tablet, vector drawing can be as easy as sketching with pen […]

The original splash page for my home site: DilateYourMind.com. This flash example loads variables from a PHP page and then creates random size gears to represent the links to the separate sections of the site. The Flash movie automatically creates a new gear-link each time that a section is added to the site.
