Dawn Truelsen – California State
These last two are the short sessions for the day; each just 30min long. In that short amount of time Dawn covered a lot. She lead us through the on-going redesign of Cal State, Fresno. They decided to give all the different departments the authority over their own subsites and content. In order to keep it all tied together, they developed a series branding templates and a lot of training. I like the idea, but in practice the site reminded me of our old site. Dispersed navigation and lots of redundancy.
